Fremantle Dockers host Heartwarming All Abilities 'Hand in Hand' Gala Day

On the 2nd of July, the Fremantle Dockers opened their doors to create history by hosting the inaugural All Abilities 'Hand in Hand' Gala Day at their Cokburn Arc facility. The event went beyond the ordinary and brought together over 300 individuals living with disability, proving that inclusion in in sport knows no bounds.

The day was a testament to the power of unity and the belief that everyone, regardless of their abilities, should have the opportunity to enjoy playing football. 

One of the many heartwarming moments from the day was the participation of Starkick players and clubs from not only across Perth but also regional areas of WA. Some families travelling the 4 hour round trip from Bunbury to be involved and suport their children as they got to pull on their club footy jumper to take part. 

The essence of the event continues to be encapsulated in the Starkick motto, 'If you want to play, we'll find a way.'
